Jason Momoa's Awesome Response To Seeing The Game Of Thrones Guys Again
Jason Momoa is an actor with an infectious personality, and one of the things he is passionate about is his former TV series Game of Thrones. The actor might be set to play an upcoming DC superhero, but he's still super enthused about his former gig as Khal Drogo and the lasting effect his character has had on Daenerys Targaryen. Now, he's spending some time in Ireland with the Game of Thrones creative team, and we don't think we've seen a happier individual anywhere. Here's Momoa's awesome response to getting to see showrunners Dan Weiss and David Benioff again:
Jason Momoa recently popped over to Ireland, where he has been taking pictures of cool-looking buildings, because that's what people do when they are feeling touristy. However, he also met up with Dan Weiss and David Benioff in what looks to be a pub. While Game of Thrones is starting filming rather late this year thanks to needing more winter weather than usual, we do know that cast members including Maisie Williams have already gotten their hands on the scripts for Season 7, so it doesn't shock me the showrunners are already on location in Ireland.
His photos on Instagram have been peppered with comments from fans asking if Khal Drogo will be returning for the upcoming seventh season of the drama, but unless Khal Drogo is expected to appear in a dream sequence, another vision or a flashback, it's highly unlikely he's hanging around as part of a role. The last time we got a look at Khal Drogo in the flesh was in Season 2 in a vision after his death on the series. Game of Thrones has used a lot more flashbacks in recent years, as well, but
It's more likely he's visiting the set and hanging out with his old Game of Thrones pals, as happened last season when Sibel Kekilli, who played Shae on the series, also returned to the set. At the time, paparazzi photos caught the actress walking around, prompting rumors she might return in Season 6. It would be far stranger if Weiss and Benioff asked Jason Momoa back and then let him just basically shout the news all over social media, but Momoa generally seems like the type of guy who does what he wants.
And what he wants is to drink a pint of "mother's milk" as he hilariously puts it and cover his face in foam so he can take a cheesy picture with the Game of Thrones guys he loves the most. Jason Momoa's reactions to the hit HBO fantasy drama are the best combination of fan love and a "been there, done that" mentality. If he keeps these up until Game of Thrones finishes filming, it might help us get through the long wait for new episodes.
