The Power Rangers TV Show Is Getting The Mightiest Marathon Ever
The Power Rangers franchise kicked off on TV way back in 1994, and it has become a huge pop culture phenomenon in the years since. The Power Rangers are soon heading to the big screen for what looks to be a blockbuster reimagining of the classic premise. For those who are now feeling nostalgic for the TV shows, Twitch Presents has some good news. The channel will be airing an epic Power Rangers marathon that will cover the entire run of the TV franchise to date.
Twitch Presents is slated to air all 23 seasons and 831 episodes of the various Power Rangers series in a massive marathon, which will kick off on March 14 at 11 a.m. PT. To tune in to the marathon - or at least part of it, because even the most diehard Power Rangers fans certainly won't be able to watch the whole thing - all viewers have to do is check out Twitch Presents. The channel is Twitch's new outlet for special presentations, marathon-style broadcasts, and other exclusive events.
The Twitch Presents marathon is pulling out all the stops to air every single episode, ranging from the franchise's early seasons of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers and Power Rangers Zeo to the more recent Power Rangers Dino Charge and Power Rangers Dino Super Charge. The good, the bad, the ugly, and the awesome of Power Rangers will be back for the marathon event. For a blast from the Power Rangers past, check out this battle of the Rangers vs. Shellshock and his turtle minions:
Take that, Shellshock! You just can't get battles of this caliber on most networks nowadays, and it could be an awful lot of fun to binge-watch campy battle after campy battle on the small screen. Technically, you can also binge-watch Power Rangers on Netflix if you're a subscriber, but what's the fun in that when there's a brand new kind of marathon? Twitch Presents definitely sounds worth checking out for some mighty morphin' action.
Be sure to check out Twitch Presents starting on March 14 at 11 a.m. PT to catch the beginning of the mighty Power Rangers marathon. If the TV marathon gets you in the mood for more Power Rangers, you can head to the theater to see the Power Rangers movie, which will be released on Friday, March 24.
