Vanderpump Rules Is Getting A Spinoff At Bravo
Bravo found a hit of a series with Vanderpump Rules, which started out as a spinoff of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Now, Vanderpump Rules is getting a spinoff of its very own, and it will revolve around Jax Taylor and his girlfriend Brittany Cartwright as they embark on a trip that looks like it will be unforgettable. The series will be called Vanderpump Rules: Jax and Brittany Take Kentucky.
The spinoff will send bartender (and Vanderpump Rules regular) Jax Taylor away from Los Angeles and down to Kentucky with his girlfriend Brittany Cartwright. The lovebirds will be visiting her family on their farm. Jax will be thoroughly out of his element as he attempts to make a good impression on Brittany's family and friends back home. He'll discover that the southern way of life is very different from what he's used to, and Brittany will need to find a balance between her boyfriend and her family.
Episodes of Vanderpump Rulse: Jax and Brittany Take Kentucky will run for a half hour each. Bravo has not yet released an exact premiere date for the series, but we do know that the first episode will debut at some point this summer. The first look at the shenanigans to come indicate that we'll be seeing plenty of melodrama when the action kicks off. Check it out!
Jax and Brittany are clearly pretty devoted each other, and marriage is on everybody's mind during the trip to Kentucky, so fans of their relationship should get some juicy material. That said, it wouldn't be a Bravo reality series without some drama, and we seem to be getting plenty of that once Jax realizes how poor of a fit he is for the farm life with Brittany's family. Her family look much less hopeful for a wedding once he starts acting up.
If the relationship drama gets to be a bit much, at least it looks like we'll have farm hijinks to entertain us. It should be interesting to see if Jax and Brittany have what it takes to anchor a series of their own. Jax has been a part of Vanderpump Rules from the very beginning, so many Bravo viewers are probably familiar with him by this point. The big question is if he (and Brittany) can nail down on audience this summer. We'll have to wait and see.
