First Look At Bloodline Season 3 Is Violent And Suspenseful
Netflix is becoming known more and more for its library of original series. The thriller drama Bloodline was one of the biggest critical hits for the streaming service, even garnering major awards recognition throughout the first two seasons. Now, Netflix has released a trailer for the upcoming third season, and it will have you on the edge of your seat. Prepare yourself for some suspense and violence, and take a look!
I'd say that we're in for a pretty stressful ride in Bloodline Season 3. In less than 30 seconds of new footage, we have somebody being clobbered in the face with a very large and very blunt object, somebody being violently drowned, somebody being shot, and somebody being wrestled to the ground. Honestly, I'm almost glad that the footage is too fast-paced to pick out the faces in some of moments. The trailer points toward an exhilarating ride when Bloodline finally returns.
Unfortunately, Season 3 will be the final season of Bloodline, so we have to hope that Netflix has some solid stuff in store for the last batch of episodes. The second season ended on a major cliffhanger, and the third only has ten episodes to pay off on that plot twist and build up to a finale. My fingers are crossed that the third season won't end on another major cliffhanger. A season finale leaving viewers hanging is one thing; a series finale leaving us hanging is just mean.
That said, there's always the chance that the Season 3 finale won't be the permanent finale of Bloodline. Technically, we can only confirm that it will be the series' final season on Netflix. While the show was in development stages, creators Todd Kessler, Glenn Kessler, and Daniel Zelman made it clear that they were planning on an arc lasting for five or six seasons. Bloodline may be shopped around to other viewing platforms in the future, whether on broadcast television or other streaming services. Given that we're in an era of sequels, saves, and revivals for TV shows, a fourth season for Bloodline elsewhere wouldn't be the wildest news.
We'll have to wait and see. At least we have one more confirmed season ahead of us. The third season of Bloodline debuts on Friday, May 26 at 12:01 a.m. PT on Netflix.
