Could Caitlin Get Killed Off In The Flash Finale?
Recent rumors have indicated someone is dying towards the end of Season 3 of The Flash, and the buzz is substantial enough to have us wondering if Caitlin Snow is on her way out. If you've been curious as well, executive producer Andrew Kreisberg shares a bit of info behind Caitlin's fate in the quote below:
That would answer the question on most shows that weren't The Flash, but just because Danielle Panabaker is still around, that doesn't mean she's the Caitlin Snow we've known for 3 seasons. We've reported on that a funeral is presumably happening towards the end of Season 3, and there's reason to believe Caitlin could be the casualty when the dust settles on Savitar. Even if we see do her six feet under come the season finale, she's already cheated death once. Who's to say Caitlin's meta powers couldn't save her again if given the time?
The important thing to note is that, whether or not Earth-1 protagonist Caitlin Snow bites the dust in Season 3, Danielle Panabaker is to remain with the show in whatever capacity Season 4. While Andrew Kreisberg confirms Panabaker isn't going anywhere to EW, he also stated that a lot of this season has been tied to saving Caitlin's soul just as much as it has been about saving Iris' life. While you contemplate that, read up on what Kreisberg has to say about Caitlin's transformation:
That's a good quote to stew on as you wait for the next episode of The Flash. We're spending all this time focusing on whether or not Caitlin lives when we should be focusing on who this future Barry is and why he wants to kill Iris so bad. Personally, I think Savitar's reveal should've been someone else, but was relieved he wasn't who others thought. You know it's a Flash finale when you have absolutely no idea what's coming next!
