American Horror Story Season 7 Will Apparently Feature A Creepy Elephant, Check It Out
We can always count on FX's anthology series American Horror Story to deliver some of the most unexpectedly eerie imagery on the small screen. There was so much creepiness over the first six seasons that it's really impossible to list everything, but it looks like there will be something in Season 7 that rivals the creepiest. Showrunner Ryan Murphy has shared an picture of a Season 7 monster that's pretty terrifying. Check it out!
Warning: this may haunt your dreams and/or ruin elephants for you forever.
Ryan Murphy shared the picture of the creepy elephant on his Instagram page, and I'd say it's a pretty great way to get people talking, if only to figure out what's going on with what looks like the pachyderm equivalent of an axe murderer. All things considered, this elephant resembles what I think many of us would imagine if the Joker somehow managed to turn himself into an elephant to scheme against Gotham yet again. He's definitely no Dumbo. I don't want to think about this creature being able to fly.
Unfortunately for those of us who would love some details about what this evil-looking elephant will be doing in Season 7, Ryan Murphy didn't include anything in his caption other than "American Horror Story Season 7 tease." Given what little we do know for sure about Season 7, however, we can make some educated guesses.
The elephant probably has nothing to do with the Joker. Ryan Murphy has revealed that Season 7 will kick off on Election Night in 2016, which pitted Democrat Hillary Clinton against Republican Donald Trump. We all know how that evening went, and American Horror Story will obviously be taking some serious liberties. I'm guessing that this ghoulish elephant comes from the elephant symbol of the Republican party, and I won't be surprised if we see a murderous donkey to represent the Democrats as well.
We can't say for sure if the elephant will be in the action in the flesh or just some kind of monstrous representation, but if it looks anything like it does in the drawing, I think Season 7 will really live up to the "horror" of American Horror Story. The plot of Season 7 does look to be centering on the real-life election, as Ryan Murphy has already said that footage of the real Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump will be included, so we can bet that Evil Dumbo won't maim any major political players.
Of course, we don't know everybody who will appear in Season 7 just yet, although American Horror Story veterans Sarah Paulson and Evan Peters are on board in mystery roles, and we have two new actors on board who might be pretty surprising to fans. We'll have to wait and see how they fit into the American Horror Story format.
