Jon Snow's Penis Size Was That Way For A Reason, According To Game Of Thrones' Showrunners
Tormund's line about Jon Snow's penis size was a burn so great, Melissandre would probably worship it as the Red God. That said, it was a bizarre line to throw down an insult to our hero's manhood after such a big moment in the series. The Game Of Thrones showrunners say there's a reason behind Jon Snow's penis size, and they share it below:
So, basically, David Benioff and D.B. Weiss gave Jon Snow a tiny penis in Game Of Thrones to knock Kit Harington down a peg! Esquire offers no details regarding Harington's actual endowment, but they do say the actor gets ribbed on lovingly quite a lot by the cast for his dashing good looks and overall likability. The male actors joke about how annoying it is that he draws all the female attention when he enters the room, and Daenerys Targaryen actress Emilia Clarke states that his hair is even better than her artfully handcrafted wigs. Davos actor Liam Cunningham seconds the hair remark, adding that his hair has "its own trailer." How does Harington stand up to all this on-set abuse?
Perhaps not surprisingly, Harington takes his ribbing during Game Of Thrones in stride and holds no ill will over the slander of his character's ding-a-ling. The shenanigans between the showrunners and Kit Harington go both ways, as Theon actor Alfie Allen recalled Harington stealing their phones and sending the lewdest messages imaginable to their contacts. David Benioff and D.B. Weiss also sent a fake script to Harington in which Jon Snow was horrifically disfigured in a fire and told him HBO thought his character was too similar to Harry Potter. With all the pranking and ridiculousness happening behind the scenes, it's a wonder these guys finished Season 7 as quickly as they did!
So, what sleight will the staff throw Jon Snow's way in the new season? Will they go so far as to disrobe Kit Harington and CGI a small wang on his body? Can you imagine being the special effects guy who lists that on his resume? That would almost be as great as saying you worked on the dragons! If anything negative and unnecessary regarding Snow's character comes to light in the new season, just know it's likely due to some writer being jealous that they aren't as fantastic as Kit Harington.
