Here's Jessica Jones In A Punisher Shirt, Because We All Needed It
The superhero shows on Netflix have crafted a whole new corner of Marvel's cinematic universe. What started with Daredevil and Jessica Jones has expanded into a number of series and spinoffs. Frank Castle, a.k.a. the Punisher, has become a fan favorite ever since he made his debut in Daredevil Season 2, and he has a show of his own in the works. Now, Jessica Jones star Krysten Ritter has found the perfect way to give a shoutout to the Punisher. Check it out!
Apparently, Krysten Ritter wore a Punisher t-shirt for a recent workout, and she was awesome enough to share her look on Instagram. For the sake of everybody else at Krysten Ritter's gym, I hope she doesn't whisper "One batch, two batch, penny and dime" every time she starts a new set of moves.
For anybody who happened to catch the second season of Daredevil, Jessica Jones channeling her inner Punisher might be enough to set them off their workout. I know I might faceplant on my treadmill if that happened. That said, I can definitely see the appeal of the Punisher as a workout motivator. Whether you want to be as capable as him or fast enough to run away from him, he's probably not a bad guy to keep in mind while at the gym.
A team-up between Krysten Ritter and Jon Bernthal as Jessica Jones and the Punisher would be pretty epic, but we can't say just yet if that could happen. The Punisher won't even include Marvel Netflix frequent flyer Claire Temple, and Jessica Jones will be working with a bunch of other heroes in the not-too-distant future. Still, they could make for a badass duo, and we can always hope. Crossovers happen frequently between the Marvel shows on Netflix; why not Jessica Jones and The Punisher?
