COPS is an unscripted series on Fox that profiles various law enforcement agencies across the United States. In each episode, cameras follow cops as they ride around responding to calls. Oftentimes the cameras chase after the cops as they chase down criminals, junkies and other potentially dangerous people. We get a glimpse into what a day (or night) in the life of a regular police officer might be like as they pursue the bad-guys and make arrests.

This season the show will film police activity in California, Florida, Texas, Minnesota and Nevada.
COPS has been around forever. Some would even consider it to be the original reality show. I was vaguely aware that it was still on the air but I think the last time I watched it was some time back in the ‘90’s. I don’t have anything against the series personally and I do hold the various law enforcement agencies featured in this show in high regard. I guess I just lost interest in watching cops chase down junkies and criminals.
