Samantha Who? is an ABC comedy series starring Christina Applegate. In the first season, Applegate’s character Samantha was hit by a car and got amnesia. She’s completely forgotten who she is and had to essentially start from scratch. What she comes to learn, from the help of her friend Andrea, her parents, her ex-boyfriend Todd and childhood best friend Dena, is that in her pre-amnesiac life, she was kind of a bitch. Ok, that’s putting it mildly but Samantha sees her current mental condition as an opportunity to start over. Unfortunately, while she may have forgotten the past, the past hasn’t forgotten her so turning over a new leaf isn’t quite as simple as she wishes it were.

In the second season premiere, Samantha learns that she was once quite a good dancer. What she soon discovers is that dancing is one of the many skills she’s forgotten. This presents a problem because she really wants to help her mom, Regina win the local ballroom contest and finally beat her nemesis, played by Cybill Shepherd. Meanwhile, Todd’s trying to move out of the apartment so Samantha can have the place to herself but he got stiffed on a job he did photographing a wedding. He seeks out Andrea’s legal assistance to get the money that’s owed to him.
