’Til Death is a Fox comedy series that shows just how funny married life in the suburbs can be. Your basic cookie-cutter sitcom, ’Til Death centers on Eddie (Brad Garrett) and Joy (Joely Fisher), a married couple whose personalities clash. Eddie’s unemotional and cynical while Joy is caring and loving. The couple has been through a lot together and though they complain, they really do love each other.

Kenny (J.B. Smoove) is Eddie’s “little brother.” Fate and a glitch in the Big Brother program matched Kenny (who was part of the program as a kid and never got a Big Brother) with Eddie. Thus began their beautiful, humorous friendship.
There are few traditional sitcoms that I’m willing to watch and ’Til Death just isn’t one of them. The premise sounds amusing but totally typical. I think the hook in this series is Brad Garrett. If you were a fan of his performance in Everybody Loves Raymond, I’m guessing this series will appeal to you just as much. I thought Garrett deserved credit for many of the laughs in Raymond but all the same, ’Til Death seems like the kind of series I might watch if I happen to catch it on but otherwise, it’s not likely to find a place on my crammed TV-watching schedule.
