She’s Got The Look is a new reality series set to air on TV Land. Exec-Produced by Allison Grodner (Big Brother), the six-episode series will follow 10 aspiring models as they compete for a modeling contract with Wilhelmina Models Inc as well as a spread in SELF Magazine. The twist to this series is that all of the women competing are ages 35 and older. Some of the contestants are in their mid to late 30’s and 40’s, while the oldest participant is 63 years old.

Lest you get the wrong idea, while these women may be older than most of the super models we’re used to seeing, based on what’s been shown of the participants on TV Land’s website, these women are all gorgeous.
The series is hosted by Kim Alexis. The judges are Sean Patterson, Beverly Johnson and Robert Verdi.
She’s Got The Look couldn’t be premiering at a better time. If the success of the Sex and the City movie in the box office can tell us one thing, it’s that people (mostly women, probably) are more than willing to watch something that celebrates beautiful women over the age of 35. I love that TV Land is doing this. That said, I also appreciate that the network has condensed this series into 6 episode rather than drawing it out all summer.
