Last season this CW reality series searched for the new member of the group, the Pussycat Dolls. This season, choreographer Robin Antin and Geffen Records Chairman Ron Fair will search for members of a new group, called Girlicious.

Thousands of girls audition and they’ve been narrowed down to fifteen. These finalists will compete against each other, showing off their singing, dancing and all around star quality in the hopes of winning one of the three available spots in the group.

I’m not sure it’s possible for me to want to watch this series any less than I already do. I have no interest in what becomes of the group, Girlicious nor do I care which three girls get picked. I expect there will be the usual reality-TV drama, added to some performances and at least a few dramatic disappointments throughout the season. Not to mention girls dancing around in lingerie. I’m sure the contestants are all talented enough and I have no doubt that there’s an audience for this series (most likely teenagers). I’m just not part of it.
