2009 Summer TV Preview: Hung

This Sunday night HBO is set to premiere their new series Hung. In case you haven’t heard about the show, it centers on a guy who is rather… well endowed and in an effort to fix his financial troubles, decides to use his biggest asset to make some money by engaging in the oldest profession in the book.

Below is the information sent to us on the series and further down is a clip from the show.

“Hung follows the story of Ray Drecker, a former high school sports legend turned middle-aged high school basketball coach and a divorced dad in dire straits who is struggling to make ends meet and regain control of his life. Because desperate times call for desperate measures, the well-endowed Ray decides to exploit his best asset by becoming a male gigolo in the hopes of changing his fortunes.

The first episode of Hung, directed by Alexander Payne (who received an Oscar® for co-writing Sideways, as well as an Oscar® nomination for directing the film) kicks off its ten-episode first season on SUNDAY, JUNE 28 at 10:00p.m. ET/PT exclusively on HBO.

The series stars Thomas Jane (The Punisher, HBO’s *61*) as Ray Drecker; Jane Adams (Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind) as Ray’s business partner, Tanya Skagle; Anne Heche (Men in Trees) as Ray’s ex-wife, Jessica Haxon; Eddie Jemison (Ocean’s Thirteen) as Jessica’s successful husband Ronnie.”
