Watch Chris Pratt Get Fit And Shirtless For Super Bowl Beer Commercial

The Super Bowl is upon us once again, which is an exciting prospect for pretty much anyone. Even if you're not particularly into sports, the evening should be chock full of great commercials and celebrity appearances. As it turns out, Guardians of the Galaxy star Chris Pratt already decided to get in on the Super Bowl commercial action, as a newly-released ad for Michelob ULTRA has him popping that shirt off in all of his Chris Pratt glory. Check out the ad, below.

If you consider yourself a Chris Pratt fan, this commercial definitely won't disappoint. It pretty much ticks most of the boxes for what we look for in a fun Chris Pratt performance; it is goofy, it is charming as hell, and he takes his shirt off at one point. We even get a scene of him trying out different beer-related personas to use during the commercial -- as if any of them could ever top Burt Tyrannosaurus Macklin.

As much as it probably benefits Michelob to have Chris Pratt step in and act as the spokesperson for the brand during the Super Bowl, it is very much a two-way street. 2018 is going to deliver a big summer for Pratt, as he will feature prominently in Avengers: Infinity War as well as Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom. Pratt has cultivated a very specific image based on his charm and charisma since his days as Andy Dwyer on Parks and Recreation, and getting him into one extra commercial (as we may very well see trailers for both of those films during the Super Bowl) could go a long way towards helping generate excitement and enthusiasm for those films.

Chris Pratt is not the only A-list actor who's getting in on the Super Bowl commercial action this year. Alien: Covenant star Danny McBride and Chris Pratt's fellow Marvel Cinematic Universe Chris, Chris Hemsworth, recently teamed up for a Crocodile Dundee spoof (which is definitely not a real movie), and Pitch Perfect 3's Rebel Wilson is doing commercials for Amazon. Star power appears to be on the menu for this year's Super Bowl (in addition to Chris Pratt's Michelob beer and whatever snacks you put out), so if you are a fan of celebrities the game could be well worth your time.

The Super Bowl will air on Sunday, February 4 at 6:30 p.m. ET. Until then, make sure to hop over to CinemaBlend's midseason premiere guide to see what shows are debuting over the next few months. Also, make sure to catch Chris Pratt (shirtless or not) when Avengers: Infinity War debuts on May 4, and when Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom debuts in theaters on June 22.
