When The Flash Is Bringing Jay Garrick And Jesse Quick Back
After a couple of seasons of possibly having too many speedsters around, The Flash has spent most of Season 4 with Barry as the only fleet-footed meta in Central City. But, now, we finally know when we can expect to see both Jesse Quick and Jay Garrick again. Episode 15, which airs on March 6 and is titled "Enter Flashtime," will bring Team Flash's two speedster allies back into the fold. You can take a look at the episode synopsis below:
Oh, I like it. We've had glimpses of Barry in Flashtime before, where he moves so fast that all the action around him appears to be frozen while he looks to be moving normally, but (aside from one time recently when he whisked Iris up into Flashtime with him) we don't usually see anyone other than Barry in Flashtime. It sounds like we could be in for some pretty cool special effects with Barry, Jesse and Jay all working together in Flashtime to save the good people of Central City.
And, it certainly sounds like Jesse and Jay will return to Central City just in time. We don't know yet who will set off a nuke in the city's hub, but it's either a pretty nasty villain who's interested in doing the most damage possible, or a huge accident that someone is certain to pay for big time. As you might imagine, a nuclear weapon going off in a city is the kind of event that would easily require the work of more than one superhero to clean up, and while Ralph, Cisco and Caitlin are no slouches in the helping people department, this sounds like the kind of thing where super speed would be especially handy to get people out of the blast zone as quickly as possible. It's probably a safe bet that Barry will be glad to see his friends again and get some assistance, too.
The Flash returns with all new episodes on The CW on Tuesday, February 27 at 8 p.m. EST. For more information on what you can watch on the small screen in the coming weeks, be sure to check out our midseason premiere guide.
