Fuller House Season 4 Will Feature A Completely Unexpected TV Reunion
Fuller House is gearing up for something major in Season 4. The sitcom is set to reunite two of the 1970's biggest television stars. The Six Million Dollar Man's Lee Majors and The Bionic Woman's Lindsay Wagner will guest star on an episode of Fuller House's upcoming season, thus reuniting the former co-stars. Wagner's Jaime Sommers was introduced on The Six Million Dollar Man. So what's in store for them on Fuller House? Here is what you need to know.
In the episode, D.J., Stephanie, and Kimmy decide to enjoy a night out with each other. Before long, the trio learns that their evening out has taken an unexpected turn, thanks to their having booked a senior citizens dinner cruise. Let's face it: this version of their evening is probably far more entertaining than whatever they originally had in mind. While it is not the one they may have expected, they come across their share of memorable people. Among them are Lee Majors and Lindsay Wagner's characters, per TV Line, which reported the reunion news.
The duo will play James and Millie, a former husband and wife, who are also former business partners. They used to own a detective agency. The ex-couple share an acrimonious relationship that should give rise to some stingingly hilarious dialogue, and that's not all. For fans of Full House's Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, the series' spinoff making Lee Majors and Lindsay Wagner's characters the former co-owners of a detective agency seems far from coincidental.
As fans will recall, one of the installments of the Olsen twins' Adventures series featured them playing detectives on a cruise ship. Will that connection spawn some inside jokes? It is possible. As many Fuller House viewers know, the twins have yet to guest star on the spinoff of the series that made them famous. Perhaps Fuller House will mention that Lee Majors' James and Lindsay Wagner's Millie solved every crime by lunchtime? Some of us would get it.
As if Lindsay Wagner and Lee Majors' TV reunion was not enough to get your nostalgic heart pumping, there is more. Also set to guest star on this special episode of Fuller House is The Nanny's Lainie Kazan, whose role as the lively Irma sounds perfectly suited to the mega-talented actress.
This is another Fuller House episode yours truly is super excited to watch. D.J., Stephanie, and Kimmy always thrive when they are put in unexpected situations, and this seismic TV reunion is nothing short of thrilling. This is one cruise that sounds like a lot of fun.
Netflix has not announced a premiere date for Fuller House Season 4, so stay tuned. For new and returning television shows you can anticipate watching while you wait for the sitcom's return, check out CinemaBlend's guide to TV's summer premieres.
