2018 Emmy Awards: Winners Updated Live
Every year, television's upper and upper-middle echelons gather together to celebrate the small screen's most popular and noteworthy entries from the previous TV seasons, and the 2018 Primetime Emmy Awards have finally arrived, with SNL stars Michael Che and Colin Jost taking over hosting duties from last year's emcee, Stephen Colbert. While the Emmys generally provide a more straightforward and routine evening than other awards telecasts, at least when it comes to the biggest winners, this year's telecast offered up a more refreshing selection of nominees, thanks in part to the off-season exclusion of regular winners like Veep.
Below, you'll find a round-up of the winners from all the major categories, with many awards having already been given out in the Creative Emmy Awards held earlier this year. Keep checking back for updates!

Nick is a Cajun Country native and an Assistant Managing Editor with a focus on TV and features. His humble origin story with CinemaBlend began all the way back in the pre-streaming era, circa 2009, as a freelancing DVD reviewer and TV recapper. Nick leapfrogged over to the small screen to cover more and more television news and interviews, eventually taking over the section for the current era and covering topics like Yellowstone, The Walking Dead and horror. Born in Louisiana and currently living in Texas — Who Dat Nation over America’s Team all day, all night — Nick spent several years in the hospitality industry, and also worked as a 911 operator.
