Jersey Shore Family Vacation's most recent episode showed Ronnie Ortiz-Magro and Jen Harley at it again with their signature drama. Right on cue, the couple ended their peaceful spell and reignited the chaos that frequently marks their relationship. Following the episode, it became clear all was not well again when Ronnie took to social media and posted a picture of a healing black eye. He also added a statement that vaguely hinted Harley may have been responsible for the shiner.
As seen above, Ronnie apologized to friends and family for lying to them. It's unclear what the Jersey Shore Family Vacation star had lied to them about, or how his repentance related to the black eye present on his face. Fans had their suspicions that Jen was responsible, of course, since it's no secret the couple have had their fair share of altercations, with some of them getting quite physical.
Jen Harley appeared to confirm suspicions that she caused Ronnie's black eye. She took to her own social media and posted a text message conversation she with Ronnie about the incident. In the exchange, Popculture.com reported Ronnie offered to clarify that the black eye was part of a dispute where both of them were at fault. He also admitted he shouldn't have posted the photo. Harley rejected the offer, though, as she thought it may be interpreted differently.
Lmfao. Nahhh so it look like your (sic) so scared of me you had too (sic).
The timing technically couldn't have been any better for MTV's Jersey Shore Family Vacation itself. The current incident came just after an episode of the two fighting in Atlantic City. An episode in which Ronnie claimed early on that things were much better between the couple in the aftermath of that car-dragging incident. That dangerous situation allegedly resulted in Jen dragging Ronnie outside of the vehicle for a distance, which is believed to have injured his arm.
That black eye exchange does not appear to be the end of Ronnie Ortiz-Magro and Jen Harley, though. The two apparently made up just in time to celebrate Jen's birthday over Halloween weekend. Jen posted photos of them in costume at the club, where they were dressed as Harley Quinn and The Joker.
Jen Harley has appeared in many headlines related to Jersey Shore Family Vacation lately. She slammed the show's editing staff for allegedly taking her scenes out of context, and recently blamed her relationship woes on the revival series. Harley even made it clear she doesn't think she and Ronnie would have issues if Ortiz-Magro left the show. So the star might not be around for a potential Season 3, but if he is, it would almost definitely feature way more drama between him and Jen.
