The Office Cast Met For Big Reunion With Creator Greg Daniels
Just a couple weeks after Steve Carell trolled Saturday Night Live viewers with the prospect of a revival of The Office, a group of the show's cast gathered at creator Greg Daniels' house. Daniels can be seen posing with several people fans of the NBC comedy may remember, all of whom look happy to be a part of the big reunion.
Jenna Fischer shared the same photo on Twitter as Angela Kinsey did on Instagram and explained that she, Angela Kinsey, Rainn Wilson, Ed Helms and a handful of other prominent cast members all gathered at Greg Daniels' place for a brunch. It appears the whole gang was invited, as Fischer shouted out stars Steve Carell, John Krasinski, Craig Robertson, Mindy Kaling, and others saying they were missed at the event.
That wasn't all the Pam actress said, however, as her final sentence to all non-cast members in attendance ended with the phrase "We'll see you soon." Whether she meant that more as everyone will make a point to get together again sometime soon or that there's a legitimate chance there's some Office-related reunion special happening is unknown. Obviously many are hoping the latter, as reunion special rumors always seem to spark up everytime the cast gets together.
With that said, there have been so many times The Office cast has reunited and gotten together since the show's end, it's hard to take any rumor talk that sparks from these all that seriously. Plus, many key people in the cast both included and not included in the recent reunion photo have been extremely busy as of late, so coordinating schedules would be a bit of a bear to manage.
The hope is still alive it may one day happen, however, as some stars who couldn't attend sent their love back to their fellow castmates from The Office. Michael Scott actor Steve Carell, who had joked during his Saturday Night Live monologue he's never invited to reunions, seemed regretful that he was unable to attend.
As for other stars who didn't attend, John Krasinski gave the picture a retweet, but no public commentary on why he couldn't attend. Mindy Kaling and B.J. Novak didn't give the same retweeting courtesy, which is kind of a Kelly and Ryan thing to do. Jokes aside, we're sure everyone would've attended if they could've as the cast has been nothing but wonderful towards each other over these past few years.
While talk of a potential revival of The Office will continue to circulate the web, audiences can still entertain themselves with reruns of the classic NBC comedy on Netflix.
