One Of Hannah's Bachelorette Guys Was Just Dragged By Fans' Dating Receipts
Hannah Brown's season of The Bachelorette hasn't even premiered yet, and there's already drama with one of its potential contestants. Yes, it appears a guy named Matt D. could have some explaining to do to Hannah B., as some awkward dating receipts have surfaced that could stand in the way of his being Mr. Right. Matt D. went viral on social media when a woman claimed he slid into her DM's on Instagram and remained there for nearly two years sending her messages.
Sometimes persistence is key, although in the world of social media some would consider frequent messaging with no response online harassment. Sam Smithburger didn't share her personal take on the situation beyond her tweet and the screenshots, and left The Bachelorette and Bachelor Nation at large to form an opinion. It's important to remember anything on the internet can be doctored these days, although it is worth mentioning the picture and instagram account of this Matt Dione match up with the pictures.
After the tweet went viral, another woman surfaced in the comments with more to say on Matt. She said she dated him for a few months and he was "crazy." She also took note of the original post's DM history, and realized there was a link between the pictures and her relationship.
Oof, sliding into another woman's DM's while in a relationship? That's not exactly husband material, but folks can change in a year. This allegation also comes with receipts as Victoria had a picture with Matt, which gives some evidence that the two did spend some time together even if the rest doesn't check out. Victoria revealed in another tweet Matt Dione had been "removed from the show" although ABC has yet to report that information.
In an unusual move, ABC gave an early look at some of the men who "may" be on Hannah's season of The Bachelorette, and that's how these women found Matt online. He is currently still featured on ABC's Bachelorette Facebook page as one of her potential suitors.
The receipts don't end there, unfortunately, for Matt D. An ex-coworker of his also appeared to share her dating experience with him. The allegations in this tweet are strange, and involve Matt allegedly asking the woman to obtain a fake ID for a reason folks may not immediately expect.
At the time of writing, the receipts still have yet to surface on this claim, despite The Bachelorette fans' requests for some. It's not looking good for Matt D. who, at the very least, may have to deal with an uncomfortable line of questioning from Hannah B. or the show's producers in regards to these allegations. Or, he'll be dropped from the competition and ABC can breathe a sigh of relief over a dodged bullet. Some fans suspect The Bachelorette producers leaked a few of Hannah's guys early just so Bachelor Nation could do this kind of cast vetting for them.
