Kristin Cavallari Is Set To Host A New Reality Show On Fox
Kristin Cavallari will not be returning for the drama of The Hills reboot. She will be joining in the revival of another reality show though. The Very Cavallari star has signed on to host the revival of Paradise Hotel on Fox. Here is what you need to know.
The network has announced that Paradise Hotel is getting a reboot, and The Hills' Kristin Cavallari is checking in to host it. From the sound of things, she will have her hands full. Paradise Hotel is not just a reality show; it is also a competition that involves dating. This show is going to be interesting! What is it about exactly?
Paradise Hotel will follow a group of singles as they stay at an exclusive tropical resort. While the scene gets set for lots of romance to unravel, there is also a catch. They cannot stay there until the show ends. Each week, one contestant has to go as a new single makes their way to paradise.
Contestants will have to utilize strategies and pair up to remain there. Making further waves in this reboot is that social media users will attempt to influence the events as they unravel on-screen. They will also help decide who gets to stay and who has to go. That is a lot of power.
There to host the action is Kristin Cavallari and make no mistake, she will be busy hosting the show. The "unscripted dating competition series" will air three nights a week over the course of five weeks. It will air Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. Thursdays' episodes will be a treat as they will feature "LIVE elements." The show will arrive just in time for summer, making its debut in early May.
Kristin Cavallari is a busy woman. Her E! reality series Very Cavallari launched last year and has already gotten renewed for a second season. Paradise Hotel will be a considerable change of pace for her. Neither The Hills or her recent E! show are in the competition format.
That said, Kristin Cavallari is familiar with reality competition series, thanks to her stint competing on Dancing with the Stars. She has also done some guest judging on Cupcake Wars and America's Next Top Model.
