The Office's Jenna Fischer And John Krasinski Escalate Stanley Cup Trash Talk Before Game 6

The Office Pam smiles to camera Jenna Fischer and Jim John Krasinski

Jim and Pam of The Office are fighting on Twitter over the 2019 Stanley Cup Final. Things escalated to a new level before Sunday's Game 6, and Jenna Fischer is feeling pretty confident -- dare I say cocky -- about her beloved St. Louis Blues defeating John Krasinski's Boston Bruins.

St. Louis currently leads the best-of-7 series at 3-2 over Boston. Jenna Fischer -- who was raised in raised in St. Louis, Missouri -- bragged on Twitter after St. Louis' Game 5 win Thursday night.

As you can see, fellow Blues supporters responded with The Office GIFs matching her confidence. But John Krasinski -- who grew up in the Boston suburb Newton, Massachusetts -- is not ready to give up quite yet.

John Krasinski is hoping the Bruins can push the series to Game 7. We'll see how that plays out when the two teams take the ice Sunday, June 9 on Jenna Fischer's home turf in St. Louis.

John Krasinski and Jenna Fischer rose to fame as Jim Halpert and Pam Beesly across nine seasons of The Office from 2005 to 2013. When the Bruins and the Blues started their Stanley Cup battle, both stars posted support for their respective teams on social media. And then they both realized a Jim vs. Pam war was in effect:

Yep.

Some fans of The Office joked that Pam would probably go back to Roy now.

Jenna Fischer is probably going to scream and celebrate and gloat like mad if the Blues pull off a 2019 Stanley Cup victory. Some fans are even trying to get The Office to revive itself for a miniseries including the NHL battle as part of the story:

Another star of The Office recently suggested the cast gather for a film, rather than a series revival, since that might be easier for everyone.

As you pick a side in this Jim vs. Pam Stanley Cup battle, considering also picking a favorite in CinemaBlend's list of the best Office episodes of all time.

Gina grew up in Massachusetts and California in her own version of The Parent Trap. She went to three different middle schools, four high schools, and three universities -- including half a year in Perth, Western Australia. She currently lives in a small town in Maine, the kind Stephen King regularly sets terrible things in, so this may be the last you hear from her.
