Bachelor In Paradise Spoilers: Connor S. Has Two Bizarre Romances Ahead
SPOILERS ahead from Bachelor in Paradise 2019.
Connor Saeli is out on The Bachelorette Season 15 but in for Bachelor in Paradise Season 6. Spoilers suggest Connor will have an interesting journey on the summer 2019 spinoff.
Connor -- aka young Christian Bale, and I won't hear otherwise -- left Bachelorette Hannah Brown's show in the dramatic Monday, July 1 episode, before Hannah picked her finalists for hometowns. Hannah told Jed Wyatt she was falling in love with him, despite all this "wrong reasons" context. Connor was frustrated that he didn't get another one-on-one date with Hannah. So he went to talk to her about it. He wasn't on the final rose track, or even the hometown date track, and Hannah let him know she couldn't see a future with him.
Connor is far from the only one of her rejected bachelors to land on Bachelor in Paradise 2019. There's John Paul Jones; plus Dylan Barbour (who starts a relationship with Bachelor Colton's finalist Hannah Godwin); plus Kevin Fortenberry, pity rose Cam Ayala, and more -- including Mike Johnson, who will apparently NOT be the next Bachelor.
Reality Steve warned early on that Blake Horstmann would be major focus of Bachelor in Paradise 2019 in a bad way. He even seemed to out-Dean Dean Unglert, although Dean did return to pull a classic Dean move, and Connor S. got dragged into it.
Connor's story is bizarre for two reasons, and the second sounds like a producer snafu, at least from Steve's behind-the-scenes recount.
First, it sounds like Caelynn Miller-Keyes from Bachelor Colton's 2019 season blows Connor off for Dean. Yes, Dean, of all people:

Would you pick Dean over Connor? I won't comment with my answer but it's implied. According to Steve, Dean comes back before the fifth rose ceremony. Caelynn is with Connor at the time, and apparently goes back and forth between them, not sure what to do. She reportedly starts making out with Dean, and then leaves Paradise with him, crushing Connor. The story gets stranger, but ultimately happier, for Connor. You know Krystal Nielson and Chris Randone were on Bachelor in Paradise 2018 and they just got married, right? We'll see the wedding in Bachelor in Paradise 2019.
That's the initial context before Steve's next update:
Weird. Wouldn't you think the Bachelor in Paradise producers -- who definitely have a finger in every storyline pie -- would know in advance that Connor and Whitney Fransway wanted to be there at the same time? It's like Romeo and Juliet without the death. ABC lost itself a quality on-air romance.
However, things turn out well for Connor and Whitney. Steve later updated that Bachelor in Paradise ultimately sent Whitney to Connor’s room, and the two got to spend a few days in Mexico together. Steve said the Bachelor in Paradise reunion was taped August 27, and Connor and Whitney are still seeing each other. He added that Whitney actually took Connor to Mexico as her date for Bachelorette Rachel Lindsay's recent wedding.
By the way, in case you don't remember her, Whitney was a 25-year-old Pilates instructor during Bachelor Nick's 2017 season and she made it to Week 6.
Bachelor in Paradise 2019 has no shortage of drama still to come, and it will reportedly end with multiple engagements. Keep up with all of the spoilers for each rose ceremony.
Bachelor in Paradise Season 6 continues Mondays and Tuesdays at 8 p.m. on ABC.
Gina grew up in Massachusetts and California in her own version of The Parent Trap. She went to three different middle schools, four high schools, and three universities -- including half a year in Perth, Western Australia. She currently lives in a small town in Maine, the kind Stephen King regularly sets terrible things in, so this may be the last you hear from her.
