The Star Wars universe’s expansion will continue this fall with the premiere of the live-action series, The Mandalorian. Series creator Jon Favreau subtly shared the news during an interview on Jimmy Kimmel Live! He was asked about The Mandalorian and Favreau provided a lot of insight, including an update on the status of the show post-Season 1. Speaking about the Star Wars series and teasing how things have gone, Favreau told Kimmel:
We’re having a great time. It’s all new characters. It’s gonna be on Disney+ coming up in the fall. And we’re done with the first season. I was actually writing part of the second season now.
This is exciting news! Jon Favreau is already working on the scripts for Season 2. It would seem that Favreau and Disney have high hopes for the future of the Star Wars series. Why wouldn’t they? The Mandalorian sounds incredibly promising, in my opinion.
