The series will follow Rob Lowe’s Owen, a New York firefighter described as “sophisticated.” Owen and his son have relocated to Texas’ capital, where he has to balance helping vulnerable people as well as solving the problems in his own life. Liv Tyler will take on the role of Chief Paramedic Michelle Blake, per Deadline. She is described as a little rock ‘n’ roll, which could very well be an inside reference to Tyler’s father, Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler.
