Jersey Shore's Ronnie Arrested For Kidnapping After Domestic Dispute With Jen Harley
The saga of Ronnie Ortiz-Magro and Jen Harley continues, and it just took a scary turn. The longtime Jersey Shore and Jersey Shore Family Vacation star has been arrested for kidnapping after an alleged confrontation with Jen Harley that involved their 18-month-old daughter, early in the morning of Friday, October 4. Here's what's happening.
Ronnie Ortiz-Magro was booked for kidnapping after an incident while staying at an Airbnb with Jen Harley and daughter Ariana, according to TMZ, which further reports that law enforcement officials shared that Harley claimed Ortiz-Magro "went off the rails" after using cocaine.
The arrest for kidnapping came after Ronnie Ortiz-Magro allegedly slapped and punched Jen Harley while chasing with a knife while holding young Ariana, who Ortiz-Magro once suggested wasn't his biological child. He reportedly locked himself inside with Ariana after dropping the knife, with sources claiming that police broke down the door and took him down with a taser out of concern for the child.
Ronnie Ortiz-Magro was reportedly taken to a hospital to be looked over while paramedics determined that neither Jen Harley nor the baby suffered serious injuries. The alleged incident took place shortly after 2:30 a.m., with police dispatch radio reportedly indicating that Harley ran outside the Los Angeles Airbnb after hitting the panic alarm, and bail apparently now set at $100k.
This kidnapping charge is arguably the most serious twist to the story of Ronnie Ortiz-Magro and Jen Harley's relationship, although their issues were sometimes made light of during Jersey Shore Family Vacation. Ortiz-Magro did say that things were "good" with Harley because he "made a change" ahead of Season 3.
Early in 2019, however, news broke when Ronnie Ortiz-Magro filed a battery report against Jen Harley after she allegedly threw an ashtray at him. This was only a few months after an episode of Jersey Shore Family Vacation showed Ortiz-Magro cheating on Harley, for which he apologized. And what was up with that black eye?
Jen Harley actually stated back in October 2018 that Jersey Shore Family Vacation was the source of "all of our problems" with regard to her relationship with Ronnie Ortiz-Magro. And that came only months after Harley was arrested for domestic battery for an incident allegedly involving a car, and he apparently looked pretty bad after it.

Ronnie Ortiz-Magro's arrest for kidnapping is the latest in a line of legal troubles involving the Jersey Shore cast, although The Situation's stint in prison (for a very different kind of case) has been beneficial for him, and he found a way to spend his time behind bars working out and dieting to lose a whopping 26 pounds.
Only time will tell what will follow Ronnie Ortiz-Magro's arrest, what the future holds for Ortiz-Magro and Jen Harley, and what it means for Jersey Shore Family Vacation, although the MTV is of course not the priority when it comes to alleged kidnapping and assault.
