Jason Momoa's Aquaman Is Not Here To Sign Boobs (Yet) In The Simpsons Clip
Jason Momoa is coming to The Simpsons this Sunday, October 13 to play himself as DC Comics hero Aquaman. Aquaman makes a celebrity appearance at the San Castellaneta festival to tell the story of a gruesomely thrice-martyred saint who is remembered with spumoni ice cream. (If you watch the clip below, it sort of makes more sense.) But first, he must dodge boob-signing requests from Patty and Selma.
Nice. Check out the new clip:
Jason Momoa is perfect in everything, including a cartoon version of himself here for The Simpsons. His role was previewed this past summer, and apparently it was tough to book the in-demand star. Here's what executive producer Al Jean told EW:
But they got him. The Simpsons, Season 31, Episode 3 is called "The Fat Blue Line" and airs this Sunday at 8 p.m. According to Fox, during the San Castellanta street festival, much of the town finds their wallets have been pickpocketed; after the state investigator puts the wrong man in jail, Chief Wiggum sets out to catch the real criminal and show he's still up for police work. Good luck with that, Chief!
Jason Momoa has been keeping a very busy schedule since Game of Thrones put him on the worldwide map. After playing Khal Drogo, he took on the role of DC Comics hero Arthur Curry/Aquaman in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and Justice League before getting his own movie in Aquaman. Aquaman was DC's first movie to pass the $1 billion box office milestone. A sequel is in the works, although Jason Momoa quipped that he couldn't film it because of being run over by a bulldozer protesting native land desecration.
Separate from Aquaman, Jason Momoa will also play Duncan Idaho in the star-studded Dune movie coming in 2020.
Jason Momoa also plays the main role of Baba Voss in the Apple TV+ series See, coming this November. The story is set in the distant future, when the human race has lost the sense of sight. The wife of blind warrior Baba Voss gives birth to a set of twins who, miraculously, can actually see. Momoa recently said this has been his favorite role to date:

See also reportedly has a Game of Thrones-level price tag, which seems fitting if you've seen the trailer.
