Emilia Clarke Totally Hid Her Game Of Thrones Fate From Jason Momoa
There were many reactions all over the web after Emilia Clarke's Daenerys Targaryen made her shocking exit from Game of Thrones, but few got as much attention as the one uploaded by Jason Momoa. The former Game of Thrones castmember and real-life buddy of Clarke was beside himself with emotion after seeing the Mother of Dragons bite the dust, and let the world know he was not okay with it.
It felt like a genuine reaction, though it's understandable if some believed Momoa was just acting or playing up the reaction for some views. For those skeptical, Emilia Clarke recently assured audiences that she kept her pal completely in the dark on what happened to Dany. That may have led to his emotional reaction, which she said was expected given how much he cares for her.
Though they only spent one season together on Game of Thrones, Jason Momoa and Emilia Clarke seemingly have one of the strongest friendships of the former cast. Given that, it's understandable the Aquaman actor was upset for his friend's character dying, even though his character died far sooner and for many, Daenerys definitely had it coming. Outside of the parents who prematurely named their kids after the Targaryen ruler, Momoa was probably one of the fans most upset about her exit.
For those curious about what it's like when Emilia Clarke and Jason Momoa get together, the Last Christmas actress and co-star Henry Golding told MTV there's a lot of Guiness. In their most recent hang Clarke said that Momoa showed her his new series See, but then kept fast-forwarding to all the parts she considered spoilers. While Clarke wasn't too thrilled about that bit, she did enjoy dinner with Momoa and company, as he apparently knows where to find the best restaurants.
Basically, Jason Momoa and Emilia Clarke sound like one of the best friend pairings from Game of Thrones, and they aren't even the married couple. Hopefully they get the opportunity to appear in another project together, if only so fans can see more of them hanging out and having a good time. Is there any room for Emilia Clarke in Aquaman 2, or maybe a potential future season of See?
