From gifs to memes, Baby Yoda, the adorably precious green creature from The Mandalorian, has become a cultural phenomenon. It’s safe to say that the internet is very obsessed with the cute character, who reportedly cost Disney a whopping $5 million. Currently, Baby Yoda problems is the internet trend and there’s really nothing better.
Being Baby Yoda might seem like the easiest job in the whole world, except for maybe Baby Yoda himself. After all, it’s hard to be taken seriously when you have cute, wide saucers for eyes and everyone is several feet taller than you. The galaxy’s cutest creature has his own share of problems, too, damn it!
For fun, fans on Twitter began tweeting what they think would be the 50-year-old Star Wars character’s biggest problems, so #BabyYodaProblems became a big deal and began trending. Rest assured, the cute factor continued playing a huge role in every single tweet. One fan tweeted that a Baby Yoda problem could be as basic as trying to get across a room.
Has Baby Yoda ever been offended by something and needed a good clap back? If not, this tweet imagines what it’s like for Baby Yoda, who’s referred to as The Child in The Mandalorian Season 1, to ruminate over his response.
Poor, sweet Baby Yoda can’t even cuddle up to any animals because he’s so small! Baby Yoda’s hands are clearly not made for petting, but he tries his best.
Baby Yoda doesn’t know how beloved he is, but maybe if the cute green creature actually watched The Mandalorian, he’d have a better sense of how big a deal he is. Too bad Baby Yoda can’t get to that damn remote.
I personally can’t see Baby Yoda cooking up a storm in the kitchen because he’s so small, but if he ever thought to make something worthwhile, it might not turn out that well, if the flame below is anything to go by.
It’s fun to imagine the difficulties that the character, who got even more attention when Big Little Lies’ Laura Dern claimed she saw him at a basketball game, goes through just to do the basic things we take for granted. And it made for one hell of an entertaining Twitter trend, too.
