The Mandalorian's Baby Yoda took the galaxy by storm as Star Wars' cutest little creature since The Last Jedi's porgs, and demand was high for some Baby Yoda merchandise as soon as the little guy debuted. Baby Yoda remained a secret thanks to the lack of merch ready for fans to order right off the bat, and now fans dying to bring Baby Yoda home with them are rewarded with a super lifelike figure. The only downside? Baby Yoda doesn't come cheap!
A life-size version of Baby Yoda (or "The Child," if you want to go with the little alien tyke's official designation) is available for order, and he stands at 16.5 inches on a black podium. This figure even holds the silver knob from Mando's ship that was Baby Yoda's favorite toy/choking hazard in The Mandalorian Season 1. The figure even comes with fuzz! And he can be all yours if you have more than $300 to spare!
The life-size figure of Baby Yoda (courtesy of Sideshow Collectibles) is available for pre-order for $350, and the company probably doesn't accept beskar steel as payment like Mando did! The good news for the more frugal fans who don't want to shell out $350 all at once is that there is a payment plan, starting at $52.50 per month for six months.
On the one hand, $350 for a figure is undoubtedly a hefty price tag for a lot of people. On the other hand, just look at how cute this Baby Yoda figure is!
Just look at those eyes and try not to feel like you'll break Baby Yoda's heart if you don't pre-order him! This figure looks more like he's ready to sip some bone broth, use the Force, and eat some frogs than something inanimate. The bad news for those ready and willing to shell out $350 or a monthly payment is that this Baby Yoda isn't available just yet. The current offer is for pre-order, with an estimated arrival between August and October 2020.
The good news is that arrival window probably means Baby Yoda could arrive at your doorstep sooner than he'll return to the small screen for The Mandalorian Season 2. The show will return in fall 2020, but if it follows the schedule of Season 1, that means new episodes in mid-November rather than August-October.
