Joy-Anna Duggar Reveals She's Pregnant Again Nine Months After Miscarriage
There’s good news in the household of Joy-Anna Duggar Forsyth and her partner Austin Forsyth. Less than a year after they were open about a heartbreaking miscarriage experience, Joy-Anna is now pregnant again.
The Counting On and former 19 Kids and Counting star opened up about the new pregnancy on Wednesday via the Instagram account she shares with her partner.
In addition, they took to Youtube to share the gender of their soon-to-be arrival, saying on Follow the Forsyths that they will be having a baby girl. The new addition will join their 2-year-old son Gideon, meaning they soon will be a family of four.
The full video is pretty lengthy and Joy-Anna Duggar Forsyth literally goes through each of the major moments of her pregnancy. She discusses the time she thought she was pregnant, but the test kept coming back negative. Undeterred, she kept testing because she felt she was experiencing the signs of pregnancy and eventually she was able to confirm the pregnancy and then tell Austin and her family she is going to have a baby. These mark some of the most touching moments of the video, below.
About nine months ago, the Duggar family also took to Instagram to share the news they had lost a little girl after 20 weeks, noting at the time “life is fragile and precious.” This time around, it seemed like the situation may be similar, as between 8 and 10 weeks Joy-Anna underwent testing to make sure her pregnancy was viable. Obviously, it's scary to contemplate losing a pregnancy and heartbreaking for that to feel like it's a possibility a couple might have to face again. But the Duggar-Forsyth clan forged on and then got a call:
So, it looks like August 19 will be the date Counting On fans should watch out for. For now, if you skipped that video above, at least click through to the end because they chose to do a wild gender reveal via helicopter. You can’t make something like that up. You even hear someone say “that was really cool.” (P.S. I'm assuming all this happened before quarantine.)
We’ll let you know if there are any pregnancy updates. Meanwhile, Counting On wrapped Season 10 at the end of 2019 and we’ll keep you updated regarding the TLC show as well. Season 11 hasn't officially been confirmed, yet, but all signs seem to be pointing toward Season 11.
