Do Survivor: Winners At War Spoilers Reveal More Bad News For Sandra?

Sandra Diaz-Twine Survivor CBS

Warning! The following contains potential major spoilers for Survivor: Winners At War going forward. Read at your own risk!

Survivor: Winners At War featured a season-defining highlight in its latest episode when Denise Stapley pulled a massive move on the "Queen of Survivor" Sandra Diaz-Twine. Denise bought Sandra's immunity idol for "safety" going into tribal, only for Denise to turn the tables and vote Sandra off the island. It was a play fans love to see, and one that sent Sandra over to the Edge of Extinction.

Another one of Survivor's greatest players is gone and, according to spoilers, things could only get worse for her from here. Viewers may know the current spoiler that one winner will quit the Edge of Extinction before the chance to return to the game, and it's looking like that person will be Sandra Diaz-Twine.

Explicit details (via Hype) on what happens are not known, but the rumor does seem to have gained some legitimacy after Sandra's elimination. Previous spoilers had teased Denise's exact betrayal of Sandra, with Sandra giving Denise her immunity idol as a key detail. With Sandra on the Edge of Extinction, it feels more likely that the rumors that she'll be the one to quit the island are true as well.

Personally, it's something I don't have trouble believing. At this point in Survivor: Winners At War, Sandra has been in the game long enough that she's well behind others on the Edge of Extinction who have Fire Tokens. She's also not all that physical of a competitor, and a vast majority of what contestants have been doing on Edge of Extinction has been physically searching the island for clues. Sandra may just realize she can either bust her tail for a snowball's chance at hell at returning, or quit early to relax and live a normal life at the Ponderosa.

Who can blame her? Playing Survivor is a demanding experience, and as a two-time winner, Sandra Diaz-Twine has nothing to prove to anyone. If she wants to leave the game early she's completely within her rights to do so, and I'm sure none of the remaining competitors were exactly upset they had one less person to worry about vying for that $2 million prize.

Provided this spoiler is true, this means Survivor: Winners At War will have its second two-time winner. If Sandra Diaz-Twine was at all concerned about sharing that title with another player, one would think she wouldn't have quit before an opportunity to return to the game. Of course, that's assuming it was her choice, as there's still a chance her exit could be a removal for medical reasons or disqualification.

We can only wait and see as Survivor: Winners At War continues at CBS Wednesdays at 8:00 p.m. ET. As always, continue to stick with CinemaBlend for updates on the reality series, and for the latest and greatest news in television and movies.
