Kim Kardashian Says Kris Jenner Had Strong Reaction To Fight With Kourtney On KUWTK
Kim Kardashian once described the Season 18 premiere of Keeping Up With The Kardashians as “a little violent” and fans finally know exactly what she meant. During the recent episode, a fight between Kim and her sister Kourtney actually got physical and Khloe had to break them up. Kim admits it's not her proudest moment on the television show and revealed how Kris Jenner reacted to the moment once she watched it. In Kim’s words:
Sure sisters fight, but not every group of siblings are the Kardashians. The cameras are often present for their most drama-filled moments including this recent altercation between Kim and Kourtney. It sounds like their mother was not happy with what went down during the Season 18 premiere. Kim admitted moments like that are ”not really what we do” and led the shooting schedule to shift around since the cast and crew were shaken up about it. Here’s what she said:
Kim Kardashian spoke about the fight during an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon which the late night host is currently filming at home. When he video chatted with Kanye West’s wife on the show, she offered a bit more context as to why she resorted to slapping her sister in front of Khloe, Kendall and the reality show's viewers:
In the scene, Kim Kardashian is discussing work ethic with her sisters when they start to get defensive about the words she is choosing. Kim first directs the conversation toward supermodel Kendall Jenner before Kourtney starts to get upset with what Kim is saying. She becomes upset about Kim choosing a “narrative” to judge her life as if she’s not working hard enough, when she feels she is already balancing a lot on her plate for herself.
Following a threat, Khloe apparently created bleeding scratches on Kim’s arm before she decided to slap her across the face a couple times. You can check out the moment below (it starts two minutes in):
In the Tonight Show appearance, Kim Kardashian explained that the brawl was the result of a long-boiling resentment between the two. She explained that Kourtney had been acting moody on set toward the cast and crew recently because she was unhappy with filming the show. Because they didn’t know she wished to leave, Kim said they would push her and it led to the crazy television moment.
Since the altercation, Kourtney has decided to take some time off from the show but Kim assured that the sisters are “obviously fine now.” Keeping Up With The Kardashians continues on Thursdays on E!.
