The Masked Singer's Kangaroo Was Hot Stuff In Donna Summer Cover, But Hot Enough?
Spoilers ahead for the April 8 episode of The Masked Singer Season 3 on Fox.
While many of the biggest shows on television are heading into premature hiatuses, The Masked Singer is still going strong and will keep on going until the next champion is unmasked. Now, however, one more contestant officially will not get to keep on going in the third season. The April 8 episode was packed with energetic performances, with the Kangaroo's Donna Summer cover of "Hot Stuff" as a standout, and not just because of the tail moves.
But was Kangaroo's "Hot Stuff" performance hot enough to stay in the game? Sadly for her, she got the Masked Singer axe and was unmasked as none other Jordyn Woods. Take a look at her valiant Donna Summer cover attempt to stay in the game:
A noted model, entrepreneur, influencer, contributor to Kardashian drama, and now Kangaroo, Jordyn Woods may become best-known for her Masked Singer performances for the foreseeable future. Considering she had previously made big headlines for allegedly fooling around with NBA star Tristan Thompson, a.k.a. the father of Khloé Kardashian's baby, hopping around to "Hot Stuff" on a popular primetime series could be very good for her career.
Of course, all that hopping was bound to take a toll on Jordyn Woods in real life, since she doesn't come from an athletic background like another Season 3 contestant. Woods explained how she got away with her work as the Kangaroo without giving away the game to her friends that she was part of The Masked Singer. Speaking to EW, Woods said this:
So, no action pilot for Jordyn Woods in the next TV season, although given that there's no guarantee of when shows will get back into production as usual in the coming months, she might not have been able to jump into a new show anyway!
All things considered, Jordyn Woods had a solid run on The Masked Singer. She made it pretty far into the competition, outlasting even music legends. Even if "Hot Stuff" wasn't hot enough to keep her on the show, she proved she had what it takes to entertain, even if it was from beneath an elaborate Kangaroo outfit.
