The Real Housewives Of New York Just Teased A Vibrator In Leftover Chicken, And Fans Need To Know Why
Warning! The following contains spoilers for The Real Housewives Of New York episode "Don't Mansion It." Read at your own risk!
Anyone who thought Season 12 of Real Housewives of New York peaked with Sonja Morgan screaming in the middle of a fancy mansion party is in for quite a surprise. The final moments of "Don't Mansion It" teased what's in store for next week's episode, and fans have a lot of questions.
Mainly, "Why is there a vibrator in the chicken?" It is seen in one of the final scenes in the preview for next week's episode of "Ain't No Party Like A Hampton's Party," and The Real Housewives of New York fans really can't believe it.
It's the icing on the cake for a preview that teased housewives drinking too much, people getting butt naked in the pool, and yes, a vibrator hanging out on a plate of leftover chicken. There's a story to be told here, but unfortunately, the world will have to wait until next week to find out what went down.
In some circles, people may consider this an all-time low for reality television. For those that love messy reality shows where folks go wild and out though, this may be the crème de la crème of what's on primetime next week. There are just so many layers to this question, and so many more questions to ask beyond why the vibrator is there to begin with.
It's really saying something that this preview for next week's The Real Housewives of New York stole the spotlight from the episode that preceded it. Sonja's dinner party meltdown was washed away, as was Luann de Lesseps meltdown about being relegated to the basement of the guesthouse. For those who missed it, Luann rolled out at 1 a.m. feeling like she was forced to sleep with spiders in the fully furnished basement.
When I tell you none of that matters now that it's out in the universe that a vibrator ended up on a plate of chicken, I mean it. Twitter is obsessed with this scene, and it already feels like this moment has gone down in The Real Housewives of New York history.

Before anyone gets too riled up, we need to remember that sometimes these edits are teased to be bigger than they really are. Sure, there could be some absolutely wild story as to how this vibrator got left in the middle of a dinner table. More realistically, it's possible that someone intentionally put it there as a joke or to shame one of the other housewives. Who knows, maybe a producer planted it just to make for good television.
If The Real Housewives of New York episode doesn't live up to the hype, at least the fandom has this trailer to remember for a while as a beacon of hope in dark times. If there isn't a ratings bump for the series due to this trailer alone, I will be very surprised.
I think we're all a little shook, and ready for more The Real Housewives of New York during this down period for television. Season 12 (which is supposedly better with its new cast) is still relatively young, and if stuff this wild is happening this early in the season, imagine just how wilder it will get down the stretch.
