Turns Out Blue Bloods' Donnie Wahlberg Is As Pumped For Yellowstone Season 3 As The Rest Of Us
Yellowstone is an incredibly popular show, so it stands to reason that among those who watch are fellow TV stars. Blue Bloods’ Donnie Wahlberg has joined fellow CBS star Beth Behrs in sharing enthusiasm for the ratings hit. Wahlberg was among those to express excitement over Yellowstone’s Season 3 return.
Last week, Paramount Network delighted fans with the long-awaited unveiling of Yellowstone’s Season 3 trailer. So, Donnie Wahlberg did what many fans would do in the wake of such an exciting development. He took to Twitter to share his thoughts in a quite sweet tweet. This is what Wahlberg had to say:
Someone is excited, and who could possibly blame him? The trailer for Season 3 was explosive and filled with little details that were easy to miss, and yet no less fascinating. Yellowstone is coming back with a vengeance, and Donnie Wahlberg is ready to relish what is next. He even revealed that Yellowstone is his favorite show that he is not on.
Donnie Wahlberg has not been shy about expressing his desire for some crossover activity over at CBS. I wonder how he would feel about guest-starring on Yellowstone, if not as Blue Bloods' Danny Reagan. Of course, he has his commitment to Blue Bloods to consider. Wahlberg recently revealed the long-running procedural has been renewed for an eleventh season by accident.
The renewal is good news for fans who might have worried about how long the series could really stay on the air. Donnie Wahlberg's legendary Blue Bloods co-star Tom Selleck recently weighed in on the show's longevity. Hopefully Yellowstone will enjoy a long future as well. It is heading into Season 3 and already assured another season after that.
That Donnie Wahlberg took time in to lavish Yellowstone with some much-earned praise is really saying something. Interestingly, Yellowstone shares some parallels with Blue Bloods. Both shows are about a patriarch whose adult kids are involved in his line of work.
Yellowstone has the potential to air on CBS as well moving forward, which could motivate Blue Bloods fans to check out the series that launched on Paramount. They could see what Donnie Wahlberg is so excited about! The good news is that fans can look forward to catching up with Wahlberg’s favorite show via NBCUniversal’s upcoming streaming service, Peacock, when it launches in July.
