90 Day Fiance Star Confirms Release From Prison, And His New Look Is Shocking

Jorge Nava 90 Day Fiance TLC

There's always some form of drama brewing in and around the 90 Day Fiancé franchise, as the TLC reality series' stars always have a tendency to create highly watchable chaos. Even so, Jorge Nava was certainly on the more extreme side of things when he made headlines nationally a couple of years ago after getting caught with hundreds of pounds of marijuana.

The penalty for that crime was pretty severe for Jorge Nava, who was a prior offender, but the 90 Day Fiancé star has managed to earn his release after serving only one year and eight months of prison time. Now a  man, Jorge Nava posted a photo to his Instagram that may shock anyone who hasn't seen him since he was first locked away.

Jorge Nava is on the outside looking like a completely different person. Since his arrest, Nava is said to have dropped around 125 pounds (via People) thanks to working out regularly and adhering to a diet healthier than what he was used to. Should he return to 90 Day Fiancé, there's a good chance viewers won't even recognize him at first, though it might not take long once he starts talking.

Speaking of which, some may be wondering what Jorge Nava's release means for his wife Anfisa Arkhipchenko. The two are still technically married, but Anfisa has since moved on with her boyfriend Leo Assaf. Nava had confirmed relatively recently that he would be seeking a divorce from Arkhipchenko upon his release, so that's likely on the horizon. Nava has also revealed he will be open to looking for love again, though it's unknown whether or not he'll be seeking it out on 90 Day Fiancé, or just in his spare time.

One thing that has been reported is that Jorge Nava is only looking to get in better shape from here on out. Nava talked to InTouch Weekly about his fitness goals, and he's apparently embraced the lofty goal of trying to match Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson in terms of physique. That'll take quite a bit of dedication and gym work (and high-calorie meals) to achieve, but if anyone can do it, it might be the guy who was able to lose over 100 pounds in prison

Another thing to watch out for is whether or not Jorge Nava can stay out of trouble now that he's out of prison, as legal issues have come up before in his life. On 90 Day Fiancé, Nava's past prior to his most recent marijuana bust prevented him from being able to rent an apartment with Anfisa Arkhipchenko. Similar problems could likely persist after his latest release, too, so Nava will have to resist the urge to break bad by finding a new way to get ahead going forward. At the moment, Nava's plan is to get into the legal marijuana business (via InTouch), and then get back to reality television if it'll have him.
