Hulu New Releases: Movies And TV Shows Streaming In June 2020
Normally, when it comes to the monthly lineup of movies and TV coming to Hulu, it's generally a fun exercise to see what's coming into the fold with the latest batch of fresh content. But, when it comes to June 2020's new additions to their digital library, Hulu truly has outdone itself.
You could even say that with theaters shut down, and summer heading our way in the near future, this is the streaming provider's equivalent to a summer tentpole season's worth of titles. Don't take our word for it, though, as you'll see the incoming slate of series, documentaries, and films debuting on Hulu in 2020 below.

Hulu's TV Highlights For June 2020
TV brings some new shows from the original programming end of Hulu's universe. If you're one of the new fans of Hulu's latest venture into animation, Solar Opposites, you'll probably dig Crossing Swords. At least, we'd recommend watching that show if you're into a bawdy and obscene animated comedy dealing with pirates and kings, animated in the style of Little People play sets, and starring the voices of Nicholas Hoult, Luke Evans, and Tony Hale.
Or, if you want to take a culinary vacation, and you've already burned through Netflix's new season of Somebody Feed Phil, there's always Taste the Nation with Padma Lakshmi. With the Top Chef host/cookbook author traveling across America to sample the diverse foods that make the nation so rich in choice, it'll probably serve as inspiration for your next big indoor dinner date. So, be sure to watch with a notepad.
If you're a game show nut, you'll be pleased to know that ABC's cadre of competitions will be headed back to your screens in June. With Match Game, The $100,000 Pyramid, Celebrity Family Feud and Press Your Luck all returning, you'll be primed to shout your guesses and commentary at your TV more than usual; as it'll be nice to be reminded of a time when game shows didn't seem like such a dangerous thing to partake in.
Hulu's Movie Highlights For 2020
If you thought the TV side of Hulu's June 2020 lineup was spoiled for choice, you should see the movies that are coming online next month! There's actually too many good options to round up in this limited space, but for the sake of time we've distilled things down to a handful of winners. And we start with an underrated horror thrill ride, as the human vs. alligator shocker Crawl will soon be available for you to scare yourself silly, whether you're quarantining alone or with others.
Though, if you want to cry in only the sweetest way possible, we highly recommend director Marielle Heller's feel good drama A Beautiful Day In The Neighborhood. You haven't truly shed tears of cathartic beauty until you let Tom Hanks' moving portrayal of Mr. Rogers help you explore your feelings. And if you're interested in a double feature of Toms, Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol brings Tom Cruise's Ethan Hunt to Hulu for another impossible mission of ass kicking mayhem.
Finally, in this frantic and fraught election year, it'd be nice to feel good about politics for a change, wouldn't it? Well, no matter what side of the aisle you sit on, Hulu is bringing two of the best presidential comedies, Dave and The American President, into its lineup for June 2020. A vote for either Kevin Kline or Michael Douglas, respectively, is a vote for high spirits and hope; but doubling up on both films is the ultimate party line of good feelings.
June 2020 is going to be quite a good time to be a Hulu subscriber, and you're not going to want to miss a moment of the excitement! But, keep in mind that these titles are subject to change, so if something looks like it's gone missing, check back for any updates that may indicate a rescheduling or removal of what you're looking for. We'll see you back here next month, when July 2020 reveals its secrets to the world.
