All The Big TV Shows That Have Been Renewed In 2020 So Far
All things considered, the 2020 television season has been the most erratic time for TV viewers since the writers' strike back in 2007-08. As such, it's become that much harder to try to predict all the renewal and cancellation decisions getting made by the plethora of networks and streaming services vying for viewers. Sure, the safe bet is always on NCIS or Law & Order: SVU to secure new seasons, but that's not always the case, say, for shows that haven't been on the air for over 15 years.
So while we might not be able to guess what all the future renewals will be on everything from NBC to Netflix, we've done the next best thing and rounded up all of the network, cable and streaming shows that officially got renewed in 2020, while also noting most series that secured new seasons prior to 2020's arrival. Check out the full list below, and let us know in the comments which show returns you're most excited to see. (As well, head to our 2020 cancellation rundown to see everything that almost definitely won't be getting renewed anytime soon.)

His humble origin story with CinemaBlend began all the way back in the pre-streaming era, circa 2009, as a freelancing DVD reviewer and TV recapper. Nick leapfrogged over to the small screen to cover more and more television news and interviews, eventually taking over the section for the current era and covering topics like Yellowstone, The Walking Dead and horror.
