With many stay-at-home orders gradually lifting and plenty of locations starting to open back up, many are beginning to venture out again. For horror buffs, the month of July should be an exciting time, as the latest episode of Hulu’s Into the Dark Season 2 is landing on the platform. The horror anthology series has managed to tell some pretty frightening tales, and the latest episode, “The Current Occupant,” should be no different.
Reality TV junkies also have a slew of content to look forward to, particularly when it comes to TLC’s library of content. The ever so popular 90 Day Fiance franchise is sure to keep your eyeballs glued to the screen. But of course, if you’re not aiming to take in that much drama, there’s also lighter fare like HGTV’s House Hunters or Food Network originals like Burgers, Brew & 'Que and Bobby vs. Duff.
And for those inquiring minds looking for content that’s a bit more unconventional, there are viable options in Ghost Hunters, Homicide Hunter and UFOs: Secret Missions Exposed as well as History’s The UnXplained with William Shatner. All in all, each of these are good choices, but they may leave you with more questions than answers.
Hulu's Movie Highlights For July 2020
Anyone hoping to find some serious action on Hulu in July is in luck because there’s a slew of blockbusters on the board like Spider-Man 3, Live Free or Die Hard and Three Musketeers. In a summer that’s lacking big screen heroes, the likes of Peter Parker and John McClane should help to liven things up a bit.
There are also plenty of comedies to be found like Palm Springs , a romantic comedy that sees two strangers have a chance encounter at a wedding and try their hardest to escape the event. And if you’re looking for some comedy classics, Liar, Liar, My Cousin Vinny and Moonstruck are a few of the other films that will keep you laughing.
Of course, with global protests following the death of George Floyd many are seeking out movies that will better educate them on systemic racism. If you’re looking for such film, I Am Not Your Negro is a must-see. Inspired by James Baldwin’s unfinished manuscript, Remember This House, the documentary takes an in-depth look at racism through notes and letter written by Baldwin himself. It all amounts to an eye-opening and heartbreaking watch that’s sure to stay with you long after you’ve seen it.
There’s no shortage of content when it comes to Hulu during the month of July. But it should also be noted that these titles are subject to change over time.
