Big Brother's Frankie Grande Has Responded To Season 22 Casting Rumors
The rumor mill has been working overtime in regards in Big Brother Season 22, and supposed leaks and reveals have been rolling out of the factory night and day. It’s reaching the point where it’s hard to tell what’s nonsense rumor mongering and what’s credible, especially after Frankie Grande’s comments about recent chatter concerning him.
A recent leak had teased that Frankie Grande was one of the confirmed names to be joining Big Brother 22 for a rumored all-star season. Now, it seems that may not be the case, as Grande himself told his fans on a Twitch livestream his thoughts on appearing on the show.
Frankie Grande (half-brother of Ariana Grande) could be misdirecting Big Brother fans to get the heat off of him and reduce suspicion he's in the game. And, I’m sure some future rumors could allege that, given that he was one of the four contestants seen as a lock, according to an unnamed CBS insider. Personally, I don’t think someone talks about the state of the world and says joining a game would be “irresponsible” if they're actually going to be announced for the game in the coming weeks, but that’s just me.
I think this is more or less confirmation that Frankie Grande is out of Big Brother Season 22, though he later clarified he isn’t done with the franchise for good, if it’s up to him. Grande talked more about his thoughts on returning for the game, and what it would take to see him make a comeback.
The last part of that quote is very interesting in my opinion. Did Frankie Grande confirm he knows some former competitors have signed on to the season, or possibly confirm that he was contacted by Big Brother to compete? Remember, we still don’t have explicit confirmation from CBS that this will be an all-star season, so any little chatter is important to latch onto in regards to pulling out more details about Season 22.
If Frankie Grande is out, though, it makes me want to take every other Big Brother rumor that sounds plausible with an additional grain of salt. Are these “sources” and “insiders” really giving out information, and the situations just change, or are they just making educated guesses and hoping that they’re right when CBS rolls out details? I also wouldn’t be surprised if CBS is intentionally encouraging the spread of false rumors and leaks, if only to combat the amount of legitimate rumors that could be floating around at the moment.
Big Brother Season 22 will premiere on CBS sometime this summer. Continue to stick with CinemaBlend for the latest on what’s happening with the season, and for the latest news happening in the world of television and movies.
