See NCIS Alums Pauley Perrette, Brian Dietzen, Michael Weatherly And More Reuniting For A Good Cause
NCIS has been around long enough that it has developed a wide and avid fanbase. I’m sure those fans are happy when some members of the team show their love for one another outside of the confines of the CBS series. In fact, this weekend, some of the fan-favorite NCIS alums reunited and Pauley Perrette and Brian Dietzen even shared some looks at the big reunion moment online.
First of all, I’d like to point out that Pauley Perrette looks very strong in this photo she shared with Dietzen as they both hulked out for charity. The two reunited along with Rocky Carroll, Sasha Alexander and Michael Weatherly for Project Angel Food, which helps to deliver meals to families in need. Over the weekend the nonprofit put on a telethon, leading to the fun reunion and donations galore. Take a look:
A second look at the event, which actually shows the reunion features the rest of the cast members who also showed up for Project Angel Food Lead with Love Telethon. Please note, the event actually involved safe social distancing and happened via a video call with some help from KTLA. You can take a look below.
There have been some issues on the NCIS set before and Pauley Perrette has stated she ultimately left the show because of on-set problems with a co-star. However, it seems like a good portion of the cast is one big family and still doesn’t mind reuniting to reminisce about the good times on the long-running CBS series. In the past, in particular, Pauley Perrette and Michael Weatherly have seemed chummy with one other, so this was another fun chance for those two to reunite as well.
Meanwhile, Pauley Perrette’s newest series, a comedy called Broke, just wrapped its run on the Eye Network last week. Michael Weatherly, Brian Dietzen and Rocky Carroll still have CBS projects, with the former on Bull and the latter two still on NCIS. Sasha Alexander recently put out the movie Dangerous Lies.
I think a lot of people sometimes long for the original NCIS cast to be back on the small screen together -- which would explain why the Ziva plotline had recently been so popular -- but when a show has been on for more than a decade, casts often change or even grow into new roles within a series. For now, it’s still nice to see some longtime cast members spending time together.
In addition, it’s not as If NCIS is going anywhere. Still a show with high ratings on CBS, the series will be heading into its 18th season, hopefully this coming fall. Network TV is still working to finalize its schedule and dates as various shows go back into production and move forward for 2020-2021.
