What To Expect From 90 Day Fiance's Darcey And Stacey Spinoff
Darcey Silva's romantic exploits have been covered in the 90 Day Fiancé franchise for a while now, and now the reality star has moved onto the next stage by getting her own spinoff on TLC. Darcey & Stacey, which follows the life of Darcey and her twin sister Stacey, is coming this August, and the twins have teased a bit of what to expect.
For those hoping for more Jessie Meester and Tom Brooks drama, I wouldn't hold my breath. Stacey spoke to EW about the reality series and some of the things she's excited for audiences to see. Perhaps not surprisingly, this upcoming spinoff is set to be a family affair.
Darcey & Stacey will not only feature the twins, but also Darcey's teen daughters Aniko and Aspen as well as Darcey and Stacey's divorced parents Mike and Nancy. According to Darcey, it sounds like there's more fun to be had adding more of her family to the show, though audiences will decide that for themselves Sunday, August 16.
There has been confirmation Darcey & Stacey Season 1 will show Darcey Silva back out on the dating scene, though the TLC series will also feature Stacey's Albanian fiancé, Florian Sukaj. Darcey spoke about Florian and lightly acknowledged some potential drama that may surface in the series.
Darcey Silva seemed to be referring to the rumblings (via Soap Dirt) that Florian may have been unfaithful to Stacey after pictures with another woman surfaced online. I guess it was inevitable that a series tied to the 90 Day Fiancé franchise would have some drama, though perhaps the series will surprise and be as wholesome as 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way's Kenneth and Armando?
Darcey & Stacey premieres on TLC Sunday, August 16, at 10:00 p.m. ET. Continue to stick with CinemaBlend for more updates on the 90 Day Fiancé franchise, and for more happening in the world of television and movies.
