The Titan Games Season 2 has concluded its western regional finals, and Noah Palicia and Margaux Alvarez are the two finalists from the region who will compete in the finale. Both have shown that they are forces to be reckoned with in recent episodes, especially Alvarez who has not lost one single event since her debut on the NBC series.
It's an impressive feat, and the key to Margaux Alvarez's success may lie in the way she switched up her training for The Titan Games. Alvarez spoke to MEAWW about her preparation for the competition and shared the details of how she got ready for Dwayne Johnson's intense game show.
Essentially, Margaux Alvarez looked at the past events of The Titan Games and tried to simulate the activities and motions of what she had seen in challenges from the previous season. It turns out her instincts were spot on, and Alvarez ended up using a sledgehammer and jumping over obstacles in addition to the other feats of strength required of the show's athletes.
As mentioned, the result was Margaux Alvarez not losing a single event since her debut, which means she successfully de-throned the reigning Titan Kelly Valdez for the top title. Alvarez retained the title against Lindsey Hamm in the following episode and had a rematch with Alvarez in the decisive final match for the West Coast finalist. It was close, but ultimately, Alvarez pushed through for the win.
Margaux Alvarez will join the Central region finalist Dani Speegle as the second woman vying to be champion in Season 2 of The Titan Games. Alvarez looks to be the person to beat in the women's division, though there's still another finalist to be found in the Eastern region. Who knows what competitor will emerge from that region, and potentially be the first to defeat Alvarez in the competition?
The Titan Games airs on NBC Mondays at 8:00 p.m. ET. Continue to stick with CinemaBlend for all the latest happening in the world of television and movies.
