90 Day Fiance's Brittany Shares Intriguing Texts With Yazan Following Explosive Fight
Warning! The following contains spoilers for the 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way episode "I'm Not Your Baby." Read at your own risk!
90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way has featured its fair share of dysfunctional couples with issues, but Brittany Banks and Yazan Abo Horira may take the cake. The couple has been in heated fights ever since she arrived in Jordan, all revolving around a misunderstanding that one would adapt to the other one's culture in their planned future together. Yazan has told his parents that Brittany said she'd convert to Islam and change her lifestyle, but was that the case?
Amidst all the chaos and fights in last night's episode, Brittany has posted a series of texts from Yazan on her Instagram page. The texts, which came from early July 2019, show that the couple was willing to adapt their cultures to be with each other, but not in the way Yazan has alleged. Scroll through the messages below, and continue for how this changes the context of the latest 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way episode:
Even with the context that this conversation took place six months before Brittany traveled to see Yazan in Jordan, it's interesting to read that it was Yazan saying he was the one willing to change his life. From this conversation, it appears he was going to defy his parents and begin a new life with Brittany regardless. Meanwhile, 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way has shown Yazan reassuring his parents that Brittany would become Muslim and abandon her past life to live as his subservient wife in Jordan.
Provided the conversations between Brittany and Yazan hadn't changed before her trip, it's certainly more understandable why she was so taken aback when Yazan's parents got loud and started shouting. There may have been some expectation that Yazan would be telling his parents what he and Brittany would be doing, as opposed to all three of them telling Brittany what she should be doing. Luckily, she didn't speak the language and didn't catch all the insults Yazan's parents threw at her, though the angry tone was enough to get her to leave their house.
Some 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way viewers have given Brittany flack for traveling to Jordan and assuming she could continue to live as she does in America, though I would think the past text conversation from Brittany's Instagram shows more to the story. Yazan may have a habit of telling both sides what they want to hear, and I'm thinking if Brittany knew what was waiting for her when she arrived in Jordan, she may not have gotten on that plane period. Of course, this is just one conversation shared by Brittany, and it's not like she'd share a conversation that makes her look bad in comparison.
90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way airs on TLC Mondays at 9:00 p.m. ET. Continue to stick with CinemaBlend for more on what's happening with the 90 Day Fiancé franchise, and for the latest news in television and movies.
