90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way Season 2 has been rough for Deavan Clegg and Jihoon Lee, who got into a heated argument after Jihoon lied about his finances in a bid to get Deavan and their children to move to South Korea sooner. Things looked to be turning sour for them on the episode, and now it's looking like the couple could be done in the present.
Just days after Deavan's mother Elicia Clegg shot down rumors that the couple had split, there has been some strange activity on Jihoon's social media. Jihoon recently wiped his social media clean of all pictures of him, Deavan, and the children, and then posted an Instagram story with the words "I'm done," written on it. Now, Soap Dirt and others have discovered Jihoon has unfollowed Deavan on social media. When asked about it, Deavan claimed to be in the dark on it.
Didn't know he did.
What makes the situation all the more curious is that Deavan flew home to America with the children in early July, and as of writing is still in Utah. Deavan originally said the trip was just to spend time in America during the holidays, and more recently, her mother said Deavan and the kids can't go home due to current travel restrictions in South Korea.
Of course, there's something a little strange about the fact that Deavan traveled home with both children without Jihoon. There was talk of a family trip planned to America that was postponed due to COVID-19, so it's odd that Jihoon would be a part of that trip and not the one that actually happened. There are plenty of reasons why he might not have been able to come along, but paired with the Instagram activity it is all a bit bizarre.
The latest episode of 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way showed that Jihoon may seem timid at times, but he can have a real temper. He stormed out of what was supposed to be an apology for lying to her, angrily telling Deavan to "go back to America" when she said he ruined her life. I don't think it's crazy to speculate Jihoon could just be frustrated by the delay in Deavan's return, or the two had another spat about something that caused him to fly off the handle.
It also is worth noting that the edits for 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way have not been kind to Jihoon as of late. Fans may be letting him have it on social media after hearing that he opted for a part-time job over full-time so he could take more naps or the fact that he had his mother hold money for him as opposed to sending it to Deavan after the birth of their son. Jihoon may have scrubbed his page to escape potential abuse from fans, and the "I'm done" was completely unrelated to his relationship. Deavan and Jihoon probably can't tell the full story anyway thanks to NDAs, so we'll just have to wait and see.
