Real Housewives Of New York City's Ramona Singer Admits She Overreacted With Her Birthday Meltdown

Ramona Singer and Leah McSweeney had it out in Mexico, and though the women of The Real Housewives of New York City were all on vacation, the two were not willing to let the other forget what happened at Ramona's birthday party. Leah wanted an apology or some admission of guilt from Ramona for always being mean to her, and Ramona wasn't about to dignify Leah with any attention after an incident that allegedly ruined her birthday party.
It all went down in the episode prior, in which Ramona was enraged that Leah (who has become a quick fan favorite) was hiking up her dress and dancing seductively on the dance floor. The situation escalated when Ramona tried to stop Leah, and then called for The Real Housewives of New York City production team to attempt to put a stop to it. The scene escalated in front of the large party, as Leah began screaming at the same time Ramona threatened to leave the show. When asked if she regretted what went down at the party on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen, Ramona came clean.
Most of the night went off without a hitch, but to Ramona Singer's credit, the part that went downhill during her meltdown was particularly bad. Regardless of how Ramona acted, Leah probably should've known calling someone "psychotic" at their birthday party wasn't a good way to de-escalate. Take that combined with Sonja Morgan pulverizing some glass into shards with her shoes, it's easy to see why it may have seemed like the world was coming to an end for her.
Of course, Ramona Singer's appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen was far removed from that party, and that level of understanding about her overreaction was not there yet in the following episode. Ramona placed a bulk of the blame for the ruined party on Leah and decided she would ignore her at all successive social gatherings between the group. Leah didn't like the cold shoulder and attempted to antagonize Ramona by shouting disparaging things about her at an event.
It all came to a head in Mexico, but unfortunately, it doesn't look like any resolution is coming in the next episode. Leah is not going to give Ramona the apology she thinks she's owed, and Ramona will not apologize to Leah for "spreading lies" that Leah was showing her vagina at the party and for making disparaging remarks about Leah's mental health. Ramona's comments now make it seem like the two may have moved past it, though we didn't have Leah there to confirm she is on good terms with Ramona.
