Big Brother Spoilers: Who Won The HOH, And What It Might Mean For Week 2

Big Brother All-Stars CBS

Warning! The following contains spoilers for the Big Brother All-Stars episode as of Wednesday, August 13. Read at your own risk!

Big Brother All-Stars said goodbye to its first houseguest, and in what was a surprise to no one by the time voting rolled around, Keesha Smith was the first person evicted. In what was a bit of a surprise, the CBS reality series did not do a live eviction and ran its Head of Household competition pre-recorded for Houseguests to see all in the same episode.

So, who won the second HOH in Big Brother All-Stars? Here's who captured the win in the competition, and what their week may mean for other houseguests in this battle of the greats.

Memphis Garrett Won The HOH

The houseguests' intuition was spot on in regards to the competition, because it was a memory challenge. Unfortunately, a bulk of the house spent the day remembering small details of their own lives and may not have been prepared for a scripted video from a "family" talking about Big Brother on video conference. Houseguests battled it out for supremacy, and at the end of the competition Robert "Memphis" Garrett stood tall.

The moment was big for Memphis on a personal level, as it was his first HOH win in Big Brother history. For now, save all of your commentary about the fact that there's still another houseguest on Big Brother All-Stars who never won an HOH, and let's focus on how Memphis' win may impact the coming week of the show.

How Will Memphis Garrett Run His HOH?

Anyone who has been watching the Big Brother All-Stars' live feeds knows Memphis is aligned with Cody Calafiore, and together, they've made a pretty hefty alliance. Tyler Crispen, Nicole Franzel, Christmas Abbott, Daniele Donato, and Enzo Palumbo are all tight together. If any of those people get put on the block this week, it likely won't be because Memphis put them there.

Memphis' win is huge for this alliance, and you better believe they're going to aim high for this eviction. They're going to hit the other side of the house where it hurts, and I suspect Memphis will target Janelle Pierzina and the man who put others in the house on to bidets, Kaysar Ridha. The two all-stars were Cody's original targets for Week 1 but managed to get safety when Kaysar won the safety suite. Now, with both unable to play for safety again, the odds of taking one of them out are much higher. It's possible Memphis could have other plans, but given he and Cody Calafiore are so tightly aligned, I highly doubt it.

Now, the sad news for Big Brother All-Stars superfans. If Janelle Pierzina and Kaysar Ridha are the targets, there's a good chance one of them is going home. I don't see any players sticking their necks out in the safety suite to guarantee the safety of either, so that's one option down. Also, after doing a headcount of Cody and Memphis' alliance, plus Kevin Campbell (who could be a wildcard), the best the others outside the alliance could hope to do is tie the vote. As we all know, the HOH breaks the tie, and I don't think Memphis is going to go rogue and vote against one of his targets.

Then again, this is Big Brother All-Stars. Perhaps one of the members of Cody Calafiore's crew will go rogue if the optics look good on a replacement nominee, but again, the first week of play was pretty lackluster. We could be in for another season of everyone voting with the HOH's wishes, and if that's the case, expect to see this mega alliance potentially running Big Brother All-Stars for the next few weeks. Of course, anyone discouraged by that news should remember that we should always "expect the unexpected," and hope for the best!

Big Brother All-Stars next airs on CBS Sunday, August 16, at 8:00 p.m. ET. Stick with CinemaBlend for more on the season as it goes on, and for more happening in the world of television and movies.
