Kristin Cavallari Finally Speaks Out Amidst Divorce From Jay Cutler
This has been a period of massive change for all of us, but Kristin Cavallari is experiencing a new normal on top of all of that. Earlier this year, the Very Cavallari star announced that she would be divorcing her husband of 7 years, former NFL quarterback Jay Cutler. The split was reported to be an amicable one, with the two citing “irreconcilable differences” as the cause. However, they have since engaged in a few disputes during the proceedings. Needless to say, the past few months have been turbulent for Cavallari, but she’s now speaking out about how she’s feeling in the midst of the situation.
Kristin Cavallari recently discussed life during the divorce proceedings and mentioned that this is the first time in a while that she’s felt some true relief. She also says she’s focusing her energy on her children and being the best mother she can be to them:
While Kristin Cavallari and Jay Cutler are still working to finalize their divorce, Cavallari’s comments to UsWeekly indicate that she’s at peace with the situation and has found time to relax. And anyone who has been following this story knows she hasn’t had much time to do that as of late.
Despite the amicable nature of Cavallari and Cutler’s divorce, the immediate aftermath saw a number of different developments and reports rise to the surface. Not long after the news broke, Cavallari chose to end her reality TV series, Very Cavallari, on which Cutler had a heavy presence. Cutler was also accused of making his soon-to-be ex-wife cry on the show and was wrongly accused of spending intimate time with one of her friends following the divorce news.
The internet has also had thoughts on the high-profile divorce, with many criticizing Jay Cutler for being “unmotivated” during the relationship. Cavallari also received backlash for a seemingly congratulating herself on Mother’s Day.
Both Kristin Cavallari and Jay Cutler, however, do seem to have accepted their situation and appear to be ready to move on. And regardless of everything, the two also seem prepared to work together in raising their children.
